Twitter Karma: What Goes Around Comes Around

Ever get annoyed with people either not following you back or Unfollowing you on Twitter? Here's a good way to manage your Followers and people you Follow. This site works great if you have Firefox installed as your Browser (there are some problems if you're using Internet Explorer). The site WILL ask you for your user name and password. You can use it to follow or unfollow hundreds of users with just a few clicks. Here's the link to Twitter Karma: http://dossy.org/twitter/karma/

Also FriendOrFollow is another good Follower managing site if you're uncomfortable with entering your password. Here's the link: http://friendorfollow.com This site just shows you who's not Following you, who you're not Following, etc... You won't be able to unfollow or follow people in bulks like you could in Twitter Karma. This site is great if your variance isn't in the hundreds. If it is, I recommend Twitter Karma.

Bow Wow - Regret

Bow Wow expresses his Regrets for his arrogant ways. His upcoming album is scheduled to appear on Young Money Records.

Did he gain my Respect? ...Sorry not yet, Lol... However is a step in the right direction.

Introducing the Sony PlayStation 3 Slim!

PS3 Slim is expected to be priced at $300 which includes Blu-ray, a 120GB hard disk, a DualShock 3 controller, and HDMI output with 1080p support. It's listed with an August 24 release date.

I think if you already own a Playstation 3 (like myself), it's not necessary to dish out another $300 for the slimmer version. Although there's more Hard Drive space on the slim version, the PS3 works fine with any USB External Hard Drive (some even goes up to 2.5 Tera Bytes). Also, nothing is mentioned about backwards compatibility or WiFi technology... So, I will be holding on to my over sized Playstation 3 until further notice.

LeBron turns into Jordan Crawford's LeBitch!

Here's what will be shown on TMZ tonight!

Here's another version of the Video in Better Quality!

Was it necessary for LeBron to Confiscate the tapes? I don't think so... Not really a big deal..

TMZ: The Video LeBron Didn't Want You To See!

Just when LeBron thought he had all the tapes Confiscated, they decide to show it on TMZ, Lol... Everyone has their moments in Basketball but it must be a pretty big deal if LeBron's trying to hide it.

Don't get it wrong, I like LeBron. But LeBron needs to grow up a little... Sure he got dunked on by a College Kid but when Jordan got crossed by Iverson, he came back and dropped like 45 on him! Tune in to TMZ tonight to view the footage you know I'll be watching, lol...

Fabolous - Remaking the Video: You Make Me Better

These Niggas are Fools! LMAO!

Fabolous - Loso's Way Review

Loso's Way is finally Here! Great album! I admit, I was a bit worried about Fabolous' approach towards the album when I heard the single "Throw It In the Bag". Don't get me wrong, its a great single but long time supporters (such as myself) know Fabolous for his lyrical content... I think Fabolous provides the right blend of catchy phrases and lyrics that'll satisfy old fans as well as new comers. Fabolous displays his story telling ability on the track "I Miss My Love"... He even gets personal on a track called "Stay" featuring Marsha Ambrosius. On the track, Fabolous speaks about him becoming a Father to his Son all while not having one himself. "I could give a fuck about Hip-Hop's new beef, I was more excited when my Son grew teeth." Other noteable tracks include "Everything, Everyday, Everywhere" featuring Keri Hilson, "Salute" featuring Lil Wayne, "The Fabolous Life" featuring Ryan Leslie, "Makin' Love" featuring Ne-Yo, "Last Time" featuring Trey Songz and more! Fabolous's 5th Studio album will be in stores July 28!

Thriller 2: Mike Jackson's Ghost?

When I first seen this video, my jaw dropped! No lie... Larry King taped this shot on CNN at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch a week after he passed:

Receiving over 9 Million hits on YouTube, what turns out to be paranormal ends up being (well..) normal. After doing a little research it turns out to be just another person's shadow, lol... I guess we can't leave you alone ...even after death. Michael Jackson RIP

They caught a Solider with his Pants Down ...Literally!

When I first seen this I thought it was some sort of a joke... A Solider at War in Pink Boxer shorts, lol... Why wouldn't you laugh at this? ...Then I realized that there was a short story behind this photo. The Solider was actually taking a nap when him and his team were being invaded by the enemy. And as a result of this, didn't have time to get fully dressed in his uniform.

I commend him for continuing the fight on the War on Terror, as well as every single Military personnel. I have huge respect for those men and women serving our country; I have friends and family who are serving or who have served our country. Even I went through the process of joining the Air Force... I appreciate the bravery Pink Boxers and all :)

Romain Jerome.... Too Much Time On My Hands!

The other day I was researching watches (tryna get that much need upgrade from my Emporio Armani). When I came across this beautiful watch from Romain Jerome:

Attracted by it's design I inquired about it's pricing... At $300 its not bad at all right? Wrong! For some reason I thought the comma was a decimal, lol... Yes: $300,000 for this watch. I don't do Canal, so I won't be sporting this anytime soon, lol...

Drake Premiers "Best I Ever Had" Video

First off let me say its been a while since we came across an artist who has this much buzz around their debut album. Drake's first video, which was Directed by Kanye West, off his upcoming album was a bit of a disappointment. I joked on my Twitter account (@imveryhumble) announcing that "the Best I Ever Had video was the Worst I Ever Seen". It's actually not that bad because I get the concept of the video but it still doesn't cut it for me.. They could've came up with something as creative but more relevant. I commend Drake & Kanye for taking a risk though. It seems they were having fun with the video... A lot of artists play it safe and just tape people throwing money around and popping bottles, lol... But you will definitely see more of this video on the Top 10 Countdowns simply because its a Hot Record.

In Honor to the King of Pop: Michael Jackson (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009)

Today we lost a Music Icon... a Legend. Michael Jackson passed away this afternoon after going into Cardiac Arrest from a Heart Attack. I literally grew up listening to Michael Jackson. I've always enjoyed his Music and watched old clips from his past videos... Smooth Criminal and Thriller are some of my all-time favorites. I even recall performing in a show in Elementary School as one of the Jackson 5.
I think a lot of today's artists were influenced by his Musical Career from Ne-Yo, Justin Timberlake, to Chris Brown. Although there's a lot of people who adopted his style, Michael's level of talent, passion, and innovation is unmatched.
This is a man who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice! He received 13 Grammy Awards, 13 Number One Singles in his Solo Career and the sales of over 750 million albums worldwide.
Aside from the music, he was a great Humanitarian! When a lot of people reach a certain level of success, they tend to become worse as a person. That was not the case with Michael... I recall when the tabloids were bashing him and the media scrutiny over the trail situation, and how Christ-like Michael remained throughout it all... I respect him for that and I know for a fact it wasn't easy being him! The news definately hit Home. Thank You Michael for Everything you definately impacted the World! Michael Joseph Jackson Rest In Peace (August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009).

Father's Day Memorial: Charles L. Weaver (November 14, 1960 - December 11, 2007)

I just want to take time out today to give Remembrance to my Father Charles L. Weaver. I'm very Thankful I had a Father like him and had the opportunity to express that to him before he passed. Its shameful to me that a number of people never had a Father figure. My only advice in that situation is to forgive and try to make contact. Pops was there during the good times and the rough ones. There's not enough space in this Blog to express every detail. He taught me a lot and in the end he was always in my corner and I was always in his. Its funny because now I feel like I'm a mirror image of him. So today, give Thanks and Cherish the times you share with your Father! Charles L. Weaver Rest In Peace (November 14, 1960 - December 11, 2007)

Misunderstood

He was noted and cited as a Humble stud,
But not much, just the slightest would bubble blood
To ease the pain, he decided another drug
But not the type you could try at your local store
At first it was just to try and nothing more
It grew old, now he's trying another drug
As a teen he cried for his mother's love,
With teary eyes, but now realize that his mother's gone
Its been three years since she died from a couple slugs
A couple strays from a couple thugs, had punctured her
Replayed those days, he used to argue and fuss with her
Told her to get a life, rolled the dice, and had cuss at her
Now, more than ever realized he had love for her
And knew that this life is far from untouchable..

She looked for Ken, every since she played with Barbie
When she was twelve she had experiences with Charlie
Fourteen, now she fell in love with Ronnie
Fifteen, now she kissing up on Donnie
Sixteen now she missing her and Johnny
Over a decade of saying ''love had robbed me''
One thing led to another, now she more than sorry
Even made a few appearances, on the show Maury
She had a few kids and don't know who the father be
Its probably, sometimes she forget what God could see
When she was young her Father wasn't so Fatherly
She tried to sleep, as she heard her Mommy beat
So now she thought her abusive man was alright to keep
She didn't realize that she, perpetuated the cycle she,
Hoped her kids every night would go right to sleep,
Cause her man would come in acting more crazy than Tyson be
When he done don't even ask for apology
To most of her friends it was hard to see
But still convinced this is a man she was bound to keep

Jay-Z's "Death of AutoTune" Hot 97 World Premier!!

This is definately a subject that needed to be touched within the Hip Hop genre... I enjoy T-Pain's music, I enjoy Kanye West but I think artists need to be a bit more creative. People are becoming too dependent on autotune to create hits... So, I appreciate Hov touching on the subject; its something that needed to be addressed. The Kanye / No I.D. track is on point...

iPhone Pro? PSP2? Or Photoshop?

Like many people, I've waited patiently for tje new arrival of the Playstation Portable and the iPhone. Here are a few concepts that may actually be the next generation of these electronic must haves or perhaps a Photoshop fake..

In this concept, it appears that the next generation iPhone will offer it's users the iChat mobile software.

This iPhone Pro concept appears to feature a better iPhone camera with zoom-in capabilities and a iPhone that has a slide up QWERTY keyboard.

This PSP2 concept appears to have a detachable screen for video viewing.

Featured in G4TV, is this PSP2 concept that has a screen that slides for access to gaming controls.

DJ Hero!!

Ok, you could say I slept on the Guitar Hero series... Everyone I know who played it says that it's fun and addictive. However, I wasn't attracted to the game because of the genre of the music. I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with Rock music, I just have a different taste in music. I always said that I would look forward to a "Guitar Hero-like" game that involved the Hip-Hop and R&B genres.
So earlier I came across this game while surfing the web called "DJ Hero". DJ Hero is made by Activision, the same company who created the successful Guitar Hero series.. DJ Hero gives folks a break from playing Rock songs by providing a turntable controller and allowing gamers to enjoy Hip-Hop, R&B, Motown and Electronica songs.
From what I understand, DJ Hero would give gamers the ability to make their own custom mixes to their favorite songs as well. Imagine custom mixing Kanye West's "Flashing Lights". I think I would buy a pair of AKG 702 just to get the full effect of the game.
This is definately a title I look forward to playing on my Playstation 3, not only because it includes my two favorite genres of music, but because it brings something new and innovative to the gaming market. I hope the track listing is appropriate and the quality of the gaming equals or surpasses that of it's predecessor. DJ Hero is scheduled to arrive this Fall!

Who's the Best Baller since Mike?

This question seems to pose an on going arguement; who is the best player in the NBA today? Most people would meantion either LeBron James or Kobe Bryant. I've been following LeBron James since he was a Junior in High School. Honestly, I couldn't wait to see him get to the point he's at now. And Kobe Bryant is definately one of the Greatest Players in the History of the Game. There's no question, they're both future Hall of Famers.. but who's better? If you go with this year's statistics, you would go with "King James" over Kobe Bryant. But what about Dwayne Wade? He had a better season than LeBron in almost every statistical category. I'll give the edge to LeBron James because of the overall Win/Loss record. However Kobe & Company's Win/Loss record is second in the league. Next to who? ...The Cleveland Cavaliers. Both players have a mutual respect for each other's game (check the NBA Unfiltered video I posted in an ealier post).I'll say this; LeBron James deserves MVP Honors this year. However, I think Season Statistics don't tell it all. Right now we are in the first Round of the 2009 NBA Playoffs. The Playoffs are different because players raise their level of intensity. I think in the end it will be a classic matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The only way I could describe this matchup is: Michael Jordan - Prior to the Rings vs Michael Jordan - with the Championships, lol.. Don't get me wrong in my opinion, neither Kobe nor LeBron is better than Jordan. Its just the Level of both of their Games are similar to Jordan's. LeBron James is like the Jordan before the rings. The high flyer, who's hungry for the Championship but is either not quite ready or is at the crossroads. Kobe Bryant is like the Jordan with rings. He's a bit more mature, more experienced, and he knows how to take over games. I mean, look at his performance last night... he literally looked like Jordan. It's to the point where Kobe literally don't have to see the basket to make a jumper. Lets not forget all those clutch performances and times he posted insane numbers (i.e. the 81 point game performance). And Kobe said last night, that he's going to be even more aggressive. "The Black Mamba" is the Best in the Game right now, bottom line. LeBron has a bright future ahead of him and will be the best in the league for a long time as soon as Kobe passes the Torch. Lakers over Cavaliers in an exciting 7 Game Series.

Either Die or go to Jail (That's a Hell of a Decision)

Today Rapper T.I. has been sentenced to a year and a day in prison and ordered to pay a $100,300 fine on weapons charges related to purchasing machine-guns and silencers. When I first heard news of him being charged, it didn't come as a surprise to me. Instead of ridiculing him for his mistake, I understood his motives. I've been listening to T.I.'s music for years and have purchased all of his albums (except for "I'm Serious"). In his music he expresses a lifestyle that most other artists mimick. Although he broke the law, to the Hip Hop community, he's highly respected. The fact that he lived what he rapped about makes his cred stronger.

I'm not condoning weaponary and violence at all but everyone has a right to protect his or herself especially if they feel threatened. At the time, T.I. had every reason to feel threatened. The bullets that killed his friend "Big Phil", in his presence, was meant for him. Sometimes the bodyguards aren't enough. Biggie Smalls, 2pac, Stack Bundles and Big L all fell victim to gunfire. He felt his back was against the wall and needed to protect himself. I understand because I was in a similar situations myself. Sometimes good people make mistakes. And I think T.I. will learn from his mistakes.

The following is an excerpt off T.I.'s Paper Trail album explaining some of his motives and reaction to his own situation:

"If your life was in jeopardy, everyday is you telling me
You wouldn't need weaponary just because of your felony?
Consider this at least, I got everybody sweating me
On the streets is people who won't rest unless I Rest In Peace
Killed my folk a year ago, still in my sleep they threaten me
Paranoia stressing me, ain't nobody protecting me
I'm dealing with the pressure from my partner dying next to me
Thing is no one's arrested, they coming for me eventually,
This was all the things that I was goin through mentally
This could be the reason I ignored the Penitentiary
Now mention them New Orlean niggas coming in the city
Killing all summer long, ain't nobody paying attention..
Now is it that hard to understand if you listen
Either die or go to jail, that's a hell of a decision
But I'm wrong and I know that my excuses ain't important
I'm just tryna let you know that I ain't think I had a choice"

NBA Unfiltered: Kobe Bryant and LeBron James

Kobe Bryant and LeBron James thoughts on each other's game. The two top performers in today's NBA. Interesting clip.

LeBron and Kobe: Unfiltered from Jean Ziven on Vimeo.

My Thoughts: The Chris Brown and Rihanna Altercation

Man, Chris Brown f**ked up bad.. I mean real bad. Hitting a Woman is something a Man should NEVER do. Sure I have a ton of jokes on the subject but this is a serious matter. I grew up around domestic violence myself and I vowed to NEVER hit a lady.
Now, I know both Rihanna and Chris Brown is still very young and as young adults you have room for mistakes but this is a problem. I can't sit here and say I'm a huge fan of either of them (although I enjoy singles from both) but when I first heard about the altercation I automatically dismissed it as a rumor.
Chris Brown has yet been able to tell his side of the story. However, the facts outweighs everything (Chris Brown turning himself in and the bruises Rihanna suffers from). I think Rihanna will become stronger as an artist after this is all over, but Chris Brown on the other hand.. His imaage is tarnished considerablely. I mean, he made it out the car without a scratch but I doubt he'll make it out of trail without a scratch (ok, that was boarderline). To his defense; everyone makes mistakes (although this is a horrific one). We sometimes forget that public figures are people too.
Anyway I honestly, I wish the best sucess to both of them. Hopefully they'll both would go their seperate ways (because obviously the relationship isn't working out) and stay out of the press columns (unless it has to do with record sales). We don't want another Ike and Tina. Furthermore, all I have left to say is keep up the bad work Chris, you making us dark-skinned brothers look good. Not to say we're bad but.. um, you know :)
